"Salvia Divinorum" is a soft-leaved green plant, native and commonly found in Southern Mexico. Salvia first made it's appearance in the psychedelic culture around the world in the early late 1990's.
Salvia is unscheduled in the United States meaning it is legal to possess and sell... It has also been noted as a controlled plant in some parts of the world. (Australia)Depending on dosage, the Salvia feeling can vary from a subtle, to a full-blown psychedelic experience. At higher doses users report dramatic time distortion, vivid imagery, encounters with beings, travel to other places, planets or times, living years as the paint on a wall or experiencing the full life of someone else. This can be an over powering and overwhelming experience, attempting it without a sitter, Needless to say is "suicide". Some remain still during the experience, some will attempt to walk around while in a completely dissociated state.
Many people find S. Divinorum to be unpleasantly overwhelming and more scary than fun. Salvia is aversive for many who try it.
